No hay duda que si hay que nombrar el evento más esperado del año, es la gala que hace el museo Metropolitan de Nueva York para inaugurar su muestra. Este año la muestra se llama "American Woman: fashioning a national identity" en la cual se hace una revisión detallada de las mujeres americanas entre 1890 a 1940, y cómo influyeron éstas mujeres en nuestra percepción de la mujer moderna.
La gala la lidera Anna Wintour de Vogue, Oprah Winfrey y Patrick Robinson de Gap (el auspiciador más grande) y luego contó con la perfomance de Lady Gaga quien vestía una traje de lentejuelas diseñado por Giorgio Armani. La exhibición está va desde el 5 de mayo hasta el 15 de agosto.
